June, 16, Smolny – meeting on "The Tall Ships’ Races Baltic – 2009" regatta preparations

Saint-Petersburg awaits to give high-level reception to regatta’s participants and guests. The acting city Governor A.I. Vakhmistrov held the meeting with representatives of 12 city committees and other state organizations. Responsible for the organization process the Chairman of the Committee on transport and transit policy Nikolay Asaul reported about the events program. Issues about visas registration, frontier and customs check were discussed. Participants and guests safety will be provided safety. Scenarios of cultural and sport events are worked out. The City is ready to give the great Festival of Sea and Youth.
